Retro Sounds

There’s something reassuringly old-school about the Yamaha CD-S1000 and the A-S1000 amplifier. Rather big and heavy but very well built with lovely wood trim on the sides. Available in both silver and black.

For more information visit the Yamaha website.

The chrome legs on the DFS Cavali Range looking pay more than a passing resemblance to to the classic Pieff furniture of the 60’s and 70’s.

The range is also in the current 1/2 price sale and available in much nicer colours to the one shown in the pictures. I personally would go for the cream or beige.

REJUVENATION RE-LAUNCHES ATOMIC AGE WITH NEW SATELLITE LINE OF MID-CENTURY MODERN LIGHTING AND HARDWARE

Like no other time in its history, America during the postwar era (1950s – 1960s) optimistically embraced the future and its promise of unlimited possibility. From jet- inspired automobiles to prefab all-steel kitchens, Atomic Age manufacturers sought out the freshest ideas and best methods of producing them. Rejuvenation, long known for its exclusive period-authentic lighting and hardware, is reviving the Atomic Age with its new Satellite line of lighting fixtures and hardware.
